    Comments: Hello, my name is Lisa M. I feel like I best represent "Miss Rocklahoma" for several reasons. The first reason is obvious- I love to rock. I was a teenager in the 1980's and I am very passionate about 80's Rock. I grew up listening to Jackyl, Great White, Motley Crue, Poison, Tesla, Dokken, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake plus all the other great bands that represent the 80's era. All of these bands have a piece of my heart. I supported them back then by buying their albums/tapes and going to their concerts. I support them now by continuing to listen to them via ITunes and going to Rocklahoma concerts. I will forever be a fan. The second reason- I live in Oklahoma. I am an "Okie." An "Okie" deserves a title shot. I would like to thank the promoters of Rocklahoma "catch the fever festivals" for hosting such a fantastic event in my home state. The third reason is factual. I have supported Rocklahoma from the beginning. I have purchased VIP tickets throughout the years. I have attended Rocklahoma in 2007, 2008, and this year 2009. I will continue to be present at future Rocklahoma events and other 80's concert events in Oklahoma. Just look for me this year at Rocklahoma; the fun-loving, high-energetic, 36 year-old Gemini who still loves to wear a bikini and rock out.

JACKYL ADDED TO ROCKLAHOMA LINEUP

PRYOR, OK - Jackyl has been signed on to bring their "Wild and Untamed" brand of Rock to Pryor, Oklahoma Saturday Night at Rocklahoma.

Director of Operations Dave Giencke said, "After Thin Lizzy's cancellation, we wanted to bring in a band that has consistently been one of the fan favorites!" "Jackyl's energy and stage presence is like no other band who has ever performed at Rocklahoma and they promise to step up even more!"

Front Man Jessie James Dupree added, "I was equally disappointed that Thin Lizzy cancelled their tour. I am a huge fan of theirs and wanted to make it down to Rocklahoma see them perform. THIN LIZZY CANCELS 2009 TOUR

PRYOR, OK - Irish Rock Band Thin Lizzy, known for hits "Jailbreak" and "The Boys Are Back In Town" cancelled their entire 2009 tour including Rocklahoma.

Thin Lizzy guitarist and main stay, Scott Gorham had this to say, "It's been a very tough time of late for myself and the band, firstly with drummer Tommy Aldridge's injury and now the subsequent decision for John and the rest of the group to go their separate ways. I can only apologize to everyone who has supported us over the years, but we will be back up to full speed soon!"
