    Comments: This will be my third trip to Rocklahoma and definitely not my last! It is by far my favorite event of the year and something that I look forward to all year. I have camped every year and made some great friends and memories along the way. Some of the most memorable are singing "Silver Bells" with Dee Snider the first year and people rocking out in the downpour to Lita Ford the second. The music and the people are what keep bringing me back. One of the things I love most about music is its ability to bring all kinds of different people together for a common goal, to have fun and listen to music. Whether it is rocking out to superstar bands on the main stage or listening to small up and coming bands at two in the morning in the campgrounds, it doesn't get much better than Rocklahoma. My favorite thing to do is to go to concerts. From 70's and 80's rock to newer metal....I love it all! It is my way to unwind from the everyday stresses of life. In my "everyday" life, I am a boring accountant...I crunch numbers for a living. Then again, it does pay for my concert habit so I guess it is okay! I'm an outgoing person that loves to spend time with my friends and family, but I also really enjoy meeting new people. I am also the proud mommy to two cute cats and one adorable dog. Other than concerts, some of the things I enjoy are rappelling, traveling, animals and reading. I am very sporadic, I love taking random road trips or vacations with little or no planning. Or driving across the state one day for no reason except for that it seemed like the thing to do. I think that I would make a great Miss Rocklahoma 2009. I think those who have met me at previous Rocklahoma events will agree. For those that I haven't met, I hope this helped you get to know me a little and I look forward to meeting you this year and having a great time! JACKYL ADDED TO ROCKLAHOMA LINEUP

PRYOR, OK - Jackyl has been signed on to bring their "Wild and Untamed" brand of Rock to Pryor, Oklahoma Saturday Night at Rocklahoma.

Director of Operations Dave Giencke said, "After Thin Lizzy's cancellation, we wanted to bring in a band that has consistently been one of the fan favorites!" "Jackyl's energy and stage presence is like no other band who has ever performed at Rocklahoma and they promise to step up even more!"

Front Man Jessie James Dupree added, "I was equally disappointed that Thin Lizzy cancelled their tour. I am a huge fan of theirs and wanted to make it down to Rocklahoma see them perform. THIN LIZZY CANCELS 2009 TOUR

PRYOR, OK - Irish Rock Band Thin Lizzy, known for hits "Jailbreak" and "The Boys Are Back In Town" cancelled their entire 2009 tour including Rocklahoma.

Thin Lizzy guitarist and main stay, Scott Gorham had this to say, "It's been a very tough time of late for myself and the band, firstly with drummer Tommy Aldridge's injury and now the subsequent decision for John and the rest of the group to go their separate ways. I can only apologize to everyone who has supported us over the years, but we will be back up to full speed soon!"
