Comments: I will best represent Rocklahoma for many reasons. I am an energetic and fun-loving gal who loves to ROCK! 80's rock is the best! I sincerely care about and am kind to other people. As Miss Rocklahoma, I will not only be the best representative for the festival, but I will also help everyone I come in contact with have fun. I work for a non-profit theatre company in Fort Worth, Texas. I am also the company manager for a very talented up and coming band. Both of these positions give me the awesome opportunity to work with people in the entertainment industry with ease and confidence. This experience, combined with my great spirit and character, makes me a valuable asset in promotion of Rocklahoma to people in all walks of life no matter what kind of music they like. I didn't grow up listening to rock music, but I LOVE it today and will never go back! This also gives me an edge dealing with people who may not currently listen to rock music. They may not know it yet, but they are fans of rock in some form or another. If you listen to almost any kind of music, from classical to opera, rock is there in some form. When people realize this and become aquainted with rock in one of it's many forms, they will want to help support Rocklahoma. When I am not working, I enjoy making crafts (cards, gift tags, scrapbooks, shadow boxes, and bookmarks) and listening to GREAT rock music. Decorating my new house is also one of my favorite hobbies. I also enjoy baking and cooking for other people. I like curling up on the couch with a bag of popcorn to watch an old movie. I LOVE traveling to see shows, friends, and family. Some of my favorite bands include: RATT, Winger, Dokken, KIX, White Lion, Saigon Kick, Mr. Big, KISS, Whitesnake, Boston, Journey, Heart, Van Halen, RUSH, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Stryper and many more... Thank you for taking time to get to know just a little bit about me. Again, I will best represent Rocklahoma as Miss Rocklahoma because I am kind, energetic, fun-loving, and caring. I can also relate to people very well. I will help people realize that they are truly ROCK fans and that they should support Rocklahoma.
